We are pleased to share a significant milestone made possible by your support. Previously, our school lacked the adequate infrastructure necessary for a proper learning environment, which directly impacted the quality of education we could provide.
To address this, we launched a project dedicated to upgrading our classrooms and school facilities. Thanks to your contributions, these spaces are now safer, more functional, and fully equipped to support high-quality teaching and learning.
Our students now have access to a suitable environment that enhances their comfort, safety, and academic development, ultimately leading to better educational outcomes. Thank you for your continued partnership and dedication to our students.
About the Community
The community of Lomas Abajo is a rural area with simple living conditions and limited access to basic services. Its economy is based primarily on subsistence farming, especially the cultivation of corn and beans. The climate is hot and dry for much of the year, which affects agricultural production and access to water. Among the main challenges are poverty, limited access to healthcare, education, and infrastructure. Furthermore, it faces difficulties with rural roads and few employment opportunities for its residents.
